We refurbish Empty Property and bring it back to a good standard complying with all current Building Regulations, Electrical and Gas Regulations and EPC requirements and often going beyond those standards. The last house we brought back into use had been empty for over ten years; our record so far is a house standing empty for over 43 years.

HomeFirst Plus is a not-for-profit organisation, working for the community for over 25 years.
We started as a Home Improvement Agency, assisting elderly, disabled and vulnerable people to remain safe and warm in their own homes - our core work and ethos still stands and our incentive to help remains - " Where we can - we will".
Our service has grown a little over the years… We can still help with that dripping tap and broken electrical socket but now we can arrange for easy access bathrooms to be installed at competitive prices, help to get your roof repaired and even arrange to get your home completely renovated to a modern, energy-efficient high standard.
We work in close partnership with a stairlift company who will arrange for quotation, supply and fitting of our stairlifts, in a smooth and convenient manner.
We are also involved in providing homes and have our own Housing Officer who works closely with Somerset Council in housing people on the homeless register - so in our own unique way we are playing a small part in helping alleviate ongoing the housing crisis.
