HomeFirst Plus furniture reuse aims to provide good quality goods at lower then high street prices, reducing waste and providing much needed goods without breaking the bank. We don't like seeing perfectly good furniture going to landfill and, where possible, we aim to up-cycle furniture to give it a new lease of life when it start looking a bit worse for wear.
Should you have any furniture you would like to donate to us, we are happy to give it a new lease of life and a new home. At present, we are unable to collect, but if you can get it to us, please let us know what items you would like to donate, book a time to drop off, and we will organise the space accordingly. Please not we can only accept items that are not seriously damaged or stained and where appropriate have the correct and legal fire labels.
Due to Coronavirus, the furniture department is no longer manned full time, and furniture is now sold online, though we plan to trial an open day as you must book in an appointment time to get access at present. Also be aware that groups of more than 2 will not be allowed into the warehouse and no mask means no entry
Furniture is either sold as is or up-cycled during one of our HomeFirst Plus Skills Centre sessions. We have limited space, so unfortunately we do have to be a tad picky, but are always grateful to receive donations of the following; so long as they are in good, unsoiled condition:
- White Goods
- Chest of drawers
- Coffee tables
- Bedside tables
Unfortunately due to space restrictions, safety issues or lack of resale interest we can't accept;
- Tumble dryers
- Large display units
- Office furniture
- Used, disassembled, flat pack furniture
- Some melamine items (They don't travel well!)
